The alter ego of French singer-songwriter Dorothée Hannequin, The Rodeo has developed a knack for unusual covers including Marilyn Manson’s “Beautiful People,” and Kanye West’s’ “Amazing.” The Rodeo’s album Music Maelström (Naïve) was partly recorded in Dallas, Texas, and mixed by producer Stuart Sikes (Cat Power, White Stripes, The Walkmen). The Rodeo has played her rough and tender songs at SXSW in Austin, Texas, in New York, Montreal, Finland, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, the UK and her native France. 2019 The Rodeo released their latest album Thérianthropie Paradis and will start to amaze audiences all over the world again.
